The clients’ eye for detail. Getting each space just right was important. We embraced the clients’ passion for design and revised the plan several times to ensure a perfect result.
Challenges
This home was located in a flood zone. We implemented several flood management systems in order to meet the resource consent criteria.
Successes
- Sustainability: The use of water was well thought through in the construction of this project. This was in order to meet flood management requirements and ensure water was used efficiently. Drainage was constructed so water would run off from hard surfaces into the garden beds.
- The clean and modern concept of the completed house and landscaping conforms to the style of the area, while also demonstrating a unique street appeal.
- The end result is stunning. The construction and materials used were of the highest quality and led to a luxurious feeling, private escape for the homeowners.
- Award winning design: This is a multiple award-winning project. It won GOLD in the Registered Master Landscapes of Distinction in the following categories:
